Welcome to the OPAL Centre
The OPAL Centre is situated in its own grounds in the rural village of Donamon, County Roscommon, Ireland.  Surrounded by open countryside, it is ideally located near to woodlands and rivers.  The surroundings enhance the tranquil setting and peaceful environment that you will find at OPAL.

On-Suite accommodation is available at the centre or alternately, we can arrange for you to stay at Donamon Castle, which is a short walk away from the OPAL centre. 




As well as offering accommodation in a tranquil setting, our facilities include:

  • Meeting Hall - available for hire and used by OPAL for a range of events

  • Relaxation areas - available to resident and non-resident guests

  • Reading Room and Study Area - a quiet area for guests to use

  • Therapy and Consultancy Room - Professional support by appointment

Whether you are coming to an event or course, attending a therapy session or simply looking to take some time out to reflect and relax.  You can be assured of the warmest welcome at OPAL.
